Commentary

This speaker system is an improved version of the E-413A.

A 28 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm uses a lightweight flat cone made of carefully selected foreign pulp. The high-compliance suspension system and strong magnetic circuit realizes low-sound reproduction with effective damping.
The Woofer voice coil uses four layers of ribbon wire to reduce waste of magnetic force and increase efficiency and allowable input. Moreover, the long voice coil enables stable operation with less distortion even at large amplitude and large input.

In the middle area, a 5 cm reverse dome type squaker is mounted.
The diaphragm is made of ultra-hard duralumin foil molded into an ultra-thin dome diaphragm with a thickness of 35 microns. Combined with the double support and inner drive system, it realizes excellent transient and directional characteristics. In addition, the diaphragm diameter is as large as 50 mm, which is smoothly connected to the sound of woofer, and realizes a thick middle and low range.

A 2.5 cm inverted dome tweeter is installed in the high range.
This unit uses an aluminum voice coil to smooth the high-frequency response.

The mid-range and high-range are equipped with level controls, each of which can be adjusted in 5 steps.

A hard particle board with a thickness of 20 mm is used for the enclosure, and the performance of the woofer is utilized by sound absorbing material and internal reinforcement and structure.
