Commentary

This 3-way speaker system uses an inverted dome type unit.

A 28 cm cone woofer is installed in the low range.
By adopting the newly developed lightweight cone and the Scepter Group's direct edge and damper parts, compliance is made to be as soft as possible and low fo has been succeeded.
In addition, a ribbon wire multi-layer wound long voice coil has been adopted. Since there is less space between coils and the space occupancy rate is high, high efficiency can be obtained by effective use of magnetic force. In addition, the allowable input can be also large due to good Joule heat radiation generated from the conductor. The tracking capability at large amplitude is high and the generation of distortion is minimized.

An inner drive type inverted dome type diaphragm is used for the middle and high frequencies.
This diaphragm has a structure in which a concave surface is placed in the front and a voice coil is mounted in the middle of the diaphragm. This structure suppresses the rolling phenomenon and stabilizes low-frequency operation. In addition, there is no deterioration in characteristics due to split vibration, which tends to occur in high-frequency operation especially when the diaphragm itself is soft.
In addition, since the most efficient driving point is selected by observing the vibration mode with a laser, high efficiency close to the horn type is realized.

The middle area is equipped with a 5 cm reverse dome type squaker.
This unit uses a double support system in addition to the inner drive and reverse dome. By supporting at two points, the edge part and the inner part, response characteristics to large amplitude are improved.
In addition, the ultra-hard duralumin foil diaphragm used in the Scepter E series has been adopted to improve the high-frequency stretch and transient characteristics.

A 2.5 cm inverted dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
This unit uses a large aluminum magnetic circuit, which is lighter than conventional copper voice copper wire voice coil and has an extremely smooth high-frequency response. The large magnetic circuit also improves the fidelity for large input, improving transient characteristics and distortion characteristics.

The enclosure is hermetically sealed, and the exterior is finished with Shiraki adjustment.
