Commentary

Two way bookshelf speaker system.

At that time, the E-83A, E-154A and E-22A were in one series, and the E-22A appeared as the smallest model in the series.

A 25 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit is equipped with a strong magnetic circuit comparable to a 30 cm woofer and has excellent damping characteristics.
A corrugated curved cone is used for the diaphragm, and it is designed to suppress the rise at the high-frequency resonance point by the curve with large radius, and to give rapid attenuation in unnecessary frequency band.

A 8 cm cone type tweeter is installed in the high range.
For the diaphragm, cone paper completed by Onkyo's own patented manufacturing method is used.
The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
