Bookshelf speaker system, 9th generation of 77 series

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm is made from North American pulp and blended with ascidian fiber, which is considered to be the strongest fiber in nature. It also uses a non-press manufacturing method to increase the thickness and strength.
The magnetic circuit uses a magnet with a diameter of 140 mm and a thickness of 17 mm. In addition, a die-cast frame is used so that the vibration system and magnetic circuit can be stably supported even at large amplitude.

A 12 cm cone type squaker using Bio-Croscone is mounted in the middle area.
For the 700 Hz to 3 kHz skoker, we select the optimum diaphragm diameter, shape and thickness material, and adopt a deep curved non-press manufacturing method biocloth diaphragm.
In addition, an independent back chamber of approximately 2L is installed at the rear of the unit in order to improve sound noise and clarity.

A composite dome tweeter combining a 2.5 cm aluminum magnesium alloy dome and a 4 cm bicycloscone is installed in the high range.
By making it a composite type, we have succeeded in balancing the characteristics of both hard dome and cone diaphragms, and at the same time, we have also achieved high efficiency of the unit itself.

In the Network Division, film condensers made by German company WIMA are used for the tweeter condenser. The woofer, squaker and tweeter circuits are mounted on separate boards to eliminate the effects of back-emf generated by the speaker unit and reciprocal induction generated by the choke coil.

The enclosure is designed not only for rigidity but also for sound quality. MDF with natural vibration damping is used for all plates, and the front baffle, which requires strength, is 42 mm thick.
In addition, we have adopted a method to effectively reinforce only important points, and have conducted careful tuning by hearing.

The speaker terminal uses a gold-plated brass scraping terminal.
Speaker cables up to 6 mm in core diameter can be connected, and banana plugs can also be connected from the rear.
The mounting position is designed so as not to be affected by vibration.

There was a special speaker stand sold separately.
The speaker stand comes with metal rivets that are driven into the base of the stand to eliminate vibration interference between the speaker stand and the floor.
