ONKYO D-66X

Commentary
This speaker system is the successor to the D-66.
A pure cross-carbon woofer is used for the woofer. In addition, an acoustic stabilizer, which is a heavy weight, reduces unnecessary vibration.
Pure carbon is used for the squaker, and the center cap uses the same carbide degree titanium as the tweeter.
Ultra-hard titanium is used for the vibration plate of the tweeter. Similar to the manufacturing method of plasma carbonite titanium, the titanium base material itself is subjected to a special surface hardening treatment to make it into a ceramic. This realizes a stable and highly rigid diaphragm with less molding strain. In addition, by introducing the high-frequency resonance cancellation technique of the high-grade machine directly, the high-frequency peak peculiar to the hard dome unit is flattened, and the transient characteristics are greatly improved.
The front baffle has a thickness of 30 mm and is a round baffle with side corners removed.
