A speaker system that uses Onkyo's original technique to thoroughly reduce noise from all the parts that make up the speaker.

Two 16 cm cone type woofers with silk OMF diaphragms are installed in the low range, and the twin drive system expands the low range playback range.
The silk OMF diaphragm has a matrix structure made of silk fiber and thermosetting resin, and is characterized by low resonance sound inherent to the material. By using this diaphragm as a small-diameter unit, the response is enhanced.
In addition, the edge and damper that support the diaphragm are carefully selected from materials with little inherent noise, and the shape that responds well to small signals and does not give a sense of clipping even when Tsutomu Dainyu is in use is selected.
In addition, in order to solve the problem that the sound information is lost due to the reflection of the propagation wave generated at the diaphragm and edge junction, the S-line edge with the least reflection is adopted.

A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of lightweight polyester mesh and laminated with high-damping special urethane elastomer film to create a natural sound field.
In addition, the N. R. I. C. (Non Reflective Inner Construction) structure is adopted to prevent the sound emitted from the rear of the diaphragm from being repeatedly reflected in the back chamber (rear vacant room) and degrading the sound quality, thereby increasing the purity of the sound.

In the network section, the boards are separated and laid out separately for each sound range of each unit to prevent mutual interference due to electromagnetic induction. In addition, an S. G. L. (Steady Ground Level) 1-point concentrated circuit is used as the ground for audio signals to ensure a ground potential that does not easily fluctuate and improve reproducibility.
In addition, by wrapping damping cloth around the internal wiring material, it is difficult to be affected by sound pressure and vibration of the enclosure, and high purity signal transmission is possible.

The enclosure uses MDF and is finished with a real wood veneer.
In addition, four horizontal reinforcing plates divide the vertical direction of the cabinet into five sections, increasing the rigidity of the long span baffle plates and side plates, and dispersing resonance frequencies so that sharp resonance does not occur at characteristic frequencies.

The speaker terminal is made from gold-plated brass and is compatible with banana plugs and with a 6 mm diameter hole to accommodate very thick cables.
In addition, to avoid the effect of vibration, we have adopted a mounting method in which it is fixed to a strong back plate.
