Commentary
This speaker system was developed with the aim of reproducing the sound, strength and rhythm of vocal sound, sound forward, and reproduction of concert and live sound.
A 16 cm cone type woofer is used for the low range.
Cellulose of ascidian, a natural marine product with high crystallinity, is mixed and bio-croscone, which is close to the ideal diaphragm (light weight, high rigidity, high internal loss), is used for the diaphragm.
The MID-4 concept also plays realistic vocals.
The SH horn tweeter is adopted for the high frequency band for the first time in the class.
It consists of a full-scale die-cast horn with a super-elliptical cross section and a reinforced Al-Mg diaphragm.
In order to absorb the standing waves of the enclosure, an acoustic wave regulator consisting of a slit and a chamber is adopted, and standing waves are effectively absorbed without relying on sound absorbing materials.
