Commentary
A speaker system that combines the rich bass reproduction of a tall boy cabinet with the sense of orientation of a small aperture unit.
A cone-shaped woofer with a 12 cm silk OMF diaphragm is mounted in the low range.
The Silk OMF diaphragm is a diaphragm made of ultra-fine silk fibers obtained by removing impurities from natural cocoon yarn. It has a multi-layered structure consisting of non-woven fabrics in which the fibers are arranged in a certain direction, and a number of fibers are stacked in different directions. To further increase the strength, both sides of the fiber layer are bound with unsaturated polyester resin.
This structure uses a manufacturing method that makes it difficult for the resin to mix into the silk fiber layer, so the silk fiber is in a state of being able to move, and the gap between fibers and between layers acts as a loss, absorbing vibration and reducing noise.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The enclosure is made of MDF and has a double bass-reflex structure with a bass-reflex duct on the front and back.
Equipped with a banana plug speaker terminal.
