Commentary
Stereo cassette deck with Accubias control and metal tape support.
In addition to the tape selector, the TA 620 is equipped with an accu-bias control to ensure the best matching with all types of tapes. With this method, even the same type of tapes can be controlled to the optimum bias value for each type of tape, taking into consideration the subtle differences in characteristics associated with different brands and grades.
The tape selector allows three levels of switching depending on the characteristics of each type of tape.
The head part uses a special permalloy head with a hard guard.
Permalloy is used as the basic magnetic material. In addition, by making the shape of the head tip into a hyperbolic shape, the disturbance of the low-frequency characteristics and the current Turf effect are suppressed severely. Moreover, by applying special hard guard processing to each of the six laminated cores, the head is finished to be extremely hard and smooth, and excellent abrasion resistance is obtained.
Double-gap ferrite head is used for the erasing head.
A DC servo motor is used for the drive part.
By automatically controlling the rotational speed with an electronic circuit, excellent rotational accuracy is maintained without being affected by voltage or load fluctuations.
In addition, the cassette upright loading system achieves stable running characteristics.
Equipped with a timer standby mechanism, it is possible to record your absence or play an alarm clock by combining with a timer sold separately.
Since the capstan is separated from the pinch roller during standby, there is no damage to the tape or mechanism, and the mechanism is automatically stopped by the full auto-stop mechanism when the tape is finished.
Equipped with a full auto-stop mechanism, the mechanism automatically stops when the tape is finished even during operations such as recording / playback, rewind / fast forward, etc. Therefore, even if the tape is left after the end of the tape, there is no excessive burden on the mechanism or the tape.
The Dolby System is installed as a noise reduction system.
Equipped with an independent wide range type level meter on the left and right.
Equipped with left and right independent recording input level control.
