Commentary
This is a full-auto player system with double suspension system that blocks vibration twice.
We have developed and installed a double suspension system to prevent adverse effects of speaker vibration transmitted through the floor surface and sound pressure (air vibration) transmitted from the air.
This system uses a double vibration transmission isolation structure in which the signal system attached to the float base is suspended (transmission isolation) with respect to the cabinet and the cabinet is suspended (induction isolation) with respect to the floor surface. The float base is molded with high-rigidity and high-density zinc die-cast in the minimum required area, so that the direct influence of sound pressure is minimized in terms of physical properties and area.
In this method, the arm and the motor are firmly connected, and the relative position displacement is suppressed, enabling more ideal tracing.
In addition, the cabinet is made of high-density resin and concrete material that balances internal loss and effects on sound quality. For floor durability, it is suspended and stably supported by an 80 mm diameter large insulator that is strong against horizontal and vertical vibration.
The motor is equipped with a 20-pole 30-slot quartz lock type high-torque DD motor. The rotation is corrected by a quartz PLL circuit to achieve stable rotation.
The turntable is designed not only to be heavy but also to take into consideration the optimum mass distribution and flywheel effect. Each product is made of aluminum die cast with a weight of 1.5 kg and a diameter of 33 cm. The dynamic balance of each product is checked and precisely finished.
The tone arm is a straight arm with the natural vibration frequency set to the optimum value.
The support part of this arm uses a miniature bearing with a high heat hardened finish, and adopts a gimbal support system with smooth movement in both vertical direction and shaft rotation direction.
In addition, the arm material is made of high rigidity aluminum finished by surface treatment with high acoustic effect to achieve both high sensitivity and clear sound quality.
Equipped with a full auto mechanism that can control all tone arm movements, including search mechanism and auto-repeat, with front operation keys.
The PX-55F uses a completely non-side pressure system with photoelectric sensing elements so that excellent trace capability is not lost due to the auto function.
The cartridge is equipped with Orthophone VMS cartridge FF-15EO/mkII.
In addition, the head shell adopts an ADC-type detachable type with self-cleaning effect made of carbon fiber.
