Integra C-2001
Commentary

A CD player developed with the aim of the extreme dynamism of compact disc.

The D/A converter uses a light-driven D/A converter. It is packaged with a special resin material containing an electromagnetic wave absorber and filled with zircon sand to make it into a hybrid IC. This reduces the noise of parts and reduces the influence of external electromagnetic wave noise.

The D/A converter uses a real 18-bit system to increase the dynamic range and linearity of the D/A converter while improving the precision by the optical drive. This allows the D/A converter to recover low-order bits that have been lost due to masking caused by semiconductor noise and other factors, thereby achieving an excellent dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio.
In addition, the phase difference is suppressed by the left and right independent configuration.

The digital filter uses an 18-bit 4-times oversampling digital filter, and the analog filter uses an operational amplifier discrete 5th order GIC analog filter.

An optical transmission method using five optical fibers is adopted for transmission between digital and analog blocks. Only music information is transmitted by optical switching signals while being electrically disconnected.
In addition, the power supply section has been thoroughly separated, and a dedicated large power transformer and a low-impedance twin-roll Chemicon are installed for both digital and analog circuits. A shield plate is installed between the power supply block for analog circuits and the power supply block for digital circuits to provide an independent layout, thereby shielding high-frequency band digital noise entering from the power supply line.
To prevent electromagnetic interference, the digital circuit section is completely encased in aluminum, and the analog circuit section is double-shielded with an aluminum case and electromagnetic wave absorber.

It uses a high carbon steel rigid chassis with high rigidity and high mass and excellent vibration reduction effect. The pickup mechanism and all circuits are fixed on the base. This not only blocks vibration from the outside, but also absorbs vibration from internal components such as disk motors and power transformers, increasing the completeness of the system.
High Carbon Steel is an alloy with an unusually large damping capacity for a metal. It has a structure of overlapping flaky crystals and has a characteristic of converting vibration energy into thermal energy and absorbing it.

The pickup block uses a mechanism that uses a total of four motors. Among them, the pickup drive is equipped with a high-speed access linear motor to realize high-speed and smooth access operation.

It is equipped with optical / coaxial digital output terminals using a latch degree digital output circuit that outputs a digital signal after eliminating the jitter component, and equipped with two analog outputs, fixed and variable.

The FF/FR (Fast Forward / Backward) function for searching the contents of the song is concentrated in one, and the shuttle search with the large diameter knob allows you to move to the desired position either forward or backward. The search speed can be freely controlled by the angle of the knob.

Equipped with a time search function.

Equipped with an absolute phase switch that realizes the absolute phase of the CD source.
