Commentary

This is the first ONKYO CD player.

Non-contact optical system Philips system is used for the mechanism.

A non-contact optical pickup system is used for disk reading.
The signal read from the disk pit is waveform-shaped, EFM demodulation, deinterleaving and error correction are performed in this order, and then converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter.
This analog signal is passed through a low-pass filter and output as an audio signal.

It is equipped with functions such as memory play and repeat of up to 4 songs.
