A thin AV amplifier equipped with Dolby Pro Logic II and MPEG-2 AAC decoder.
In addition to DTS and Dolby Digital Decoder, Dolby and Dolby Digital Decoder.
The Dolby Pro Logic II is an extension of the conventional Dolby Pro Logic, which was able to enjoy 2 ch source only in 4 ch surround sound, and realizes 5.1 ch playback. You can choose from two surround modes : Dolby Pro Logic II Movie for movies and Dolby Pro Logic II Music for music.
It is also equipped with an MPEG-2 AAC decoder for BS digital broadcasting.
It features a discrete 5-ch amplifier, an audio-oriented 24-bit crystal DSP processor, a 96 kHz / 24-bit D/A converter, a thin, heat-resistant power transformer and an aluminum extruded heat sink.
Features such as Smart Config for easy initial setup and an acoustic control switch for adjusting sound quality at low volume.
Equipped with wide-range amplifier technology WRAT for DVD-Audio and SACD.
Equipped with a non-scaling configuration function to prevent dynamic range and S/N degradation during downmix.
Onkyo's unique surround modes include Orchestra, Unplugged, Studio-Mix, TV Logic and All Ch Stereo.
Equipped with a 30-station preset FM/AM tuner.
Wireless remote control is included.
