Commentary
AV amplifier equipped with Dolby Pro Logic II decoder.
In addition to DTS and Dolby Digital, it is equipped with a decoder of Dolby Pro Logic II.
This is an evolution of Dolby Pro Logic, which used to be able to enjoy 2-channel source with 4-channel surround only. It realizes 5.1 channels by adding stereo surround channels and subwoofer channels.
There are two surround modes : Dolby Pro Logic II Movie for movies and Dolby Pro Logic II Music for music.
The built-in easy-to-configure function allows you to easily obtain sound field space by simply selecting the number of speakers and the ON/OFF position of the subwoofer. As with high-end models, you can also customize the Input Selector to remember the listening mode.
It features an audio-oriented 24-bit crystal DSP processor, a 96 kHz / 24-bit D/A converter, and a separate aluminum extrusion heat sink for front and center & surround systems.
The power amplifier section is equipped with a completely independent 5-channel discrete power amplifier.
Wide Range Amplifier Technology WRAT compatible with DVD-Audio and SACD has been introduced.
Equipped with an optimal gain volume circuit that improves S/N with optimal attenuation control.
It uses an audio / video separation board that protects the signal purity by preventing noise contamination.
All channels use a screw-type speaker terminal that supports banana plugs.
Equipped with digital / analog automatic input switching function.
It is equipped with a late-night mode that allows you to hear clearly even when playing in low volume such as at night, and suppresses large sound effects.
This function can be used when playing Dolby Digital.
Equipped with 30-station preset FM/AM tuner.
It comes with a remote control for main operation such as DVD player made by Onkyo.
