Commentary
A pre-main amplifier with improved drive capability at low impedance.
In order to send the music signal recorded in the CD source to the in the CD source to the speaker in high purity. When this switch is turned ON, the signal path passes through the dedicated volume for CD direct, which is independent from other sources, and is directly input to the power amplifier section. This eliminates the sound quality degradation caused by unnecessary circuits and electrical contacts.
For sources other than CD direct, the transmission path has been completely simplified, and high-purity and high-density transmission is achieved by direct tone, which does not require a tone amplifier.
When pulsed noise generated in digital circuits such as CD players enters the amplifier, it interferes with analog signals and causes digital signal interference (D.S. I.), which reduces sound field and SN sensation.
This digital interference is a harmonic noise component and flows in a loop with the CD player, amplifier, power line, and CD player.
The Integra A-815EX has a signal-in-phase transformer (S. I. T) in the CD input, which removes only high-frequency digital noise without affecting the music signal.
In order to achieve low impedance in the power supply section, a newly developed low impedance twin roll Chemi-Con with a total capacity of 24,000 μ F is used in the electrolytic capacitor. This capacitor has two pairs of anode and cathode for low impedance, and vibration measures are taken by increasing strength.
In addition to this, it uses a large power transformer of 187 VA and a high-speed diode with a high response speed.
The amplifier has a high f of Pc = 150W.TFour power transistors, combined with a powerful power supply to increase low-impedance drive capability.
It is equipped with video input and monitor output in order to be compatible with video equipment.
The video signal path is collected at the input / output terminal on the rear panel and switched by relay, so that the layout is separated from the audio circuit, eliminating unnecessary interference between the two.
In addition to the Treble and Bass, the tone control is equipped with a Contrabass, making it possible to enhance only the conventional band of about 100 Hz or less.
This tone control is a Direct Tone method that uses only passive elements without using a tone amplifier, so you can adjust the tone while maintaining high quality.
An X stabilizer made of PbSb (lead-antimony) special alloy is installed at the bottom to greatly reduce the effect of external vibration.
In addition, special resin damping materials are attached to the top and bottom of the chassis, and rubber absorbers are also used for the power transformer and heat sink.
It employs a double sensing servo that reduces distortion caused by the ground line, and a linear switching system that reduces crossover distortion.
Equipped with a high-gain MC/MM equalizer amplifier.
