Commentary

A CD/HDD tuner amplifier that you can enjoy by combining with your own speakers.

The BR-NX10A was designed as the main body part of the mini-component X-NX10A, but it was also sold separately.

Super Floating HDD unit is used for the HDD part to reduce the effect of electrical noise.
The electronic components used inside the HDD function as a low-sensitivity microphone, picking up vibrations caused by the high-speed rotation of the HDD and generating electrical noise. This electrical noise causes the loss of minute music information, so when you record music on a PC, you may hear the expression and nuance of the music slightly different from the original, or you may feel that the clarity of the low tone has been lost.
In order to prevent this problem, we have developed a chassis structure that is strong against torsion and deflection using thick chassis material and high-rigidity aluminum front panel based on the know-how cultivated in high-grade single component components, and the generation of electrical noise is prevented from the foundation. Inside the chassis, noise is reduced by optimal layout and wiring, power control and ground control.
The HDD unit is equipped with additional anti-vibration measures. The special steel base in which the HDD is fixed has rubber bushings at the four corners that act as buffer cushions. These cushions effectively make the HDD part a floating structure, preventing vibration from the HDD from being transmitted to other circuits and parts.

The discrete configuration amplifier, which is the design method used in the single amplifier, provides more pure reproduction capability, and the VLSC circuit, which reduces pulse noise and realizes more pure analog conversion, is incorporated.

Uses an optimal gain volume that does not lose sound even at low volume.

The CD drive can play music CDs and CD-R/RW (including MP3 files).
You can dub music at up to 8 times the speed from the music CD to the HDD with a single button. In addition, when dubbing, information such as album names and song titles can be automatically registered from the database of 350000 albums pre-registered in the HDD. This function supports not only when dubbing to the HDD but also when playing music CDs on the BR-NX10A. Songs are not registered in the BR-NX10A, you can search for song information via the Internet.
You can choose a linear PCM format for recording, the same uncompressed format as music CDs, or you can convert to ATRAC and MP3 formats after recording.

Equipped with USB direct play function.
Simply insert a USB flash drive, digital audio player, or external HDD containing MP3 music files into the USB port and press the USB Play button on the remote control to start music playback. With conventional models, it was necessary to load music into the HDD once, so it is easier to use.

You can transfer and record music data in ATRAC3, ATRAC3plus, or MP3 format stored in the HDD of the BR-NX10A to digital audio players (ATRAC players / MP3 players) or USB memories.
The BR-NX10A can also record MP3-format songs stored in digital audio players, USB thumb drives, or PCs (LAN connection) to the HDD.

If you register for Any Music, you can listen to music on a trial basis or download music from titles distributed on the Internet music distribution site mora.
You can also purchase a lineup of CDs, view on-air information of FM broadcasting (such as information on programs being broadcast or information on songs being broadcast), and store music information on the BR-NX10A so that you can download songs and purchase CDs.

It has a built-in tuner that supports preset functions for 20 FM stations and 10 AM stations.
You can use the timer function to record your favorite programs and later edit only the parts you need to enrich your library. There are three timer functions : recording, playback, and sleep timer.

By connecting an MD deck or cassette deck, past sound sources can also be saved in the HDD.
It is compatible with the Gracenote service, and it is possible to register names of songs and artists by automatically recognizing waveform data of songs recorded on the Internet from sources other than music CDs.

You can store image data (JPEG format) stored in a USB memory or LAN-connected HDD to songs or albums recorded on the HDD.

It is equipped with a normalization function that automatically adjusts the volume level of each piece of music when playing back the music in the HDD, so that each piece of music can be played with uneven peak values.

All songs in the HDD can be played in BGM with one button. Random playback is also supported.
