Nakamichi MB-10

Commentary

A 5-string CD changer that uses the Music Bank method.

It uses Nakamichi's unique music bank mechanism.
This system does not use a CD magazine or carousel. Instead, a disc is inserted into the slot to insert and replace the CD. You can operate it with the same feeling as a single-disc CD player.
In this method, only the edge of the CD is held and transported, so there is no need to touch the music signal surface and there is no risk of damage to the disc. In addition, the front door with excellent shielding effect prevents dust from adhering to the disc.

The D/A converter uses a 24-bit D/A converter to re-quantize 16-bit music signals into 24-bit signals for high-precision conversion, improving the resolution of low-level signals.
The digital filter uses an 8 x oversampling type.

A third order Bessel filter is used for the analog filter.

It has a random play function, and you can play all songs from 5 CDs by rearranging the order of songs.

It has a memory play function and can play up to 50 songs on 5 CDs in memory.

Equipped with repeat play function, all disk repeat, memory repeat and random repeat are possible.

Digital output of 75 Ω coaxial terminal and optical terminal is mounted.

Equipped with a headphone port that allows level adjustment.

Gold-plated terminals are used for the audio output terminals.

8 cm CD can be played by using an 8 cm CD adapter (SONY CSA-8).

Equipped with a remote function, you can operate the MB-10 with a remote control such as a Nakamichi receiver.

Wireless remote control is included.
