Commentary

CD player equipped with music bank system.

Equipped with a music bank system, you can freely operate a total of seven CDs on the tray and six CDs stored in the internal stocker.
You can play multiple discs in succession or memory play of up to 50 songs.

The D/A converter is equipped with a high-grade EL (Enhanced Linearity) 20-bit D/A converter.
This method complements the performance of current D/A converter ICs, which have limited conversion accuracy, while promoting multi-bit conversion, and achieves true 20-bit conversion accuracy for low-level signals, where 80-90% of music information is concentrated.
In addition, the high-grade EL20-bit DAC mounted on the MB-1 adopts the same configuration as that used in the prestige model Nakamichi1000mb/i. The latest 20-bit 8 fs type with improved attenuation characteristics is adopted for the digital filter, and a device with one rank higher distortion characteristics is introduced into the D/A converter IC itself.

The analog filter uses a linear phase third order Bessel type analog filter to suppress phase distortion and obtain natural reproduction sound. The push-pull configuration of all stages using discrete component greatly improves the bare characteristics and realizes filter characteristics closer to the ideal.

A multi-regulated power supply system is used for the power supply section to supply power to each circuit section independently to prevent mutual interference, and an isolated ground system is used to prevent noise contamination between digital and analog circuits.

A large disc stabilizer is installed to suppress disc vibration and eliminate adverse effects on audio signals caused by excessive servo current.

By increasing the rigidity of the bottom chassis and analog circuit board, unnecessary vibration is reduced.

High stability servo system is adopted.

Equipped with 3-way random play function of all / delete / single.
It also has a 4-way repeat play function of All / Delete / Memory / Random.

Equipped with a direct function key for easy disk designation operation.

Recording synchronized with Nakamichi's deck is possible.

Equipped with a disk scanning function.

It supports 8 centimeters CD.
The single tray section can be used directly, and the stocker section can be used only by one piece depending on the attached adapter.

Equipped with a digital output terminal with digital ON/OFF switch.
