CR-30
Commentary

A cassette deck that uses traditional Nakamichi technology such as a discrete three head system.

A fully independent discrete three head system is used for the head part.
In this method, each head can be completely independent, preventing the deterioration of the high-frequency characteristics due to the magnetic azimuth shift that occurs during actual recording with the Combination 3 head.

The head uses a crystal head.
In order to prevent the deterioration of sound quality due to uneven wear of the head, this head adopts a unique head shape that always polishes the surface to an ideal state. By this, the quality as new is maintained for more than 10,000 hours (Nakamichi experimental value).

Closed-loop dual capstan system is adopted for the mechanism part.
In this method of Nakamichi, accurate tape tension is obtained by slightly changing the rotation speed of the two capstan units, and optimum head touch is always maintained without using tape pads or tape guides that cause modulation noise.
In addition, the use of frequency-distributed transport, which avoids overlapping flutter periods, improves sound transparency and stability.

A multi-regulated power supply is used for the power supply section to eliminate mutual interference in each circuit.
In addition, a high-speed discrete レギューレーター has been adopted, and an excellent response speed and high stability have been obtained by a circuit configuration equivalent to an audio amplifier composed of individual parts.

A silent mechanism is adopted.

A reference DC amplifier is used.
A dual-mono configuration is used for the amplifier board.

Equipped with an acoustic insulator to reduce the influence of external vibration.

Equipped with Dolby B/C Type NR as a noise reduction system.

Equipped with an independent equalizer switch.

Equipped with a tape slack prevention mechanism.

Equipped with an output volume.

System remote terminal and headphone terminal are installed.

Uses gold-plated input / output terminals.

There are approximately 30 adjustment mechanisms inside, and by carefully adjusting all items in the manufacturing process, each individual error is pushed to the limit and excellent characteristics are acquired.
For example, a typical cassette deck has only one semi-fixed volume for bias adjustment for each L and R, so only one of the three tape positions can be adjusted accurately. On the other hand, the CR series has a total of six semi-fixed volumes for L and R. By pursuing the characteristics of all positions to the limit, excellent sound quality is obtained even in normal position.
In addition, 56 items of actual measurement of characteristics were carried out on a perfectly adjusted deck, and every item was strictly measured one by one, and only the individual which sufficiently satisfied the specification is shipped.
