Commentary
This is the highest class cassette deck of limited order production model which was created by flashing each part based on 1000 ZXL.
The parts used are all custom-made and hardened, and the materials and finishes of the chassis and flywheels are so luxurious that it seems like a waste at first. In addition, the front panel and knob are plated with pure gold and the cabinet is finished with Rosewood using natural wood plates, making it suitable for the custom model.
In the mechanism section, the surface of the aluminum chassis, which has a large damping property against vibration, is treated with black alumite to enhance corrosion resistance, and at the same time, the aluminum is sandwiched to enhance vibration absorption capacity.
The flywheels are machined from brass round rods to further reduce wow and flutter with a large moment of inertia and high accuracy.
The head is composed of three discrete heads for accurate azimuth adjustment.
In addition, the shield case of the recording head and reproducing head is plated with pure gold to reduce surface over-current and external noise, thereby improving the S/N ratio and reducing modulation caused by low-frequency noise.
The main chassis, which is the skeleton of the whole body, is treated with black chromate treatment to further improve corrosion resistance.
The heat sink for the power supply is gold-plated on a copper plate with excellent thermal resistance, contact resistance, and electrical resistance.
All circuit connectors are also gold-plated to greatly improve corrosion resistance.
A built-in A. B. L. E. computer automates the recording head azimuth adjustment, recording bias adjustment, recording playback level adjustment, and recording equalizer adjustment.
It is equipped with an automatic music selection system using code memory and RAMM computer.
You can encode up to 15 points and up to 30 songs can be played in memory playback program.
It is equipped with a transport mechanism that employs a frequency distributed double capstan and a resonance braking type chassis.
Equipped with an FL peak level meter with a level range of 50 dB (-40dB to + 10 dB) and a 4-digit digital tape counter.
Equipped with a 3-point microphone input of L, R and Blend (L + R), and a mixing circuit of the source signal.
The owner's name was engraved on each car, and there was a warranty period of 5 years.
RM-300 (sold separately) allows remote control of all tape operations including RAMM.
