Commentary
An AV receiver developed by inheriting the design concept of the flagship model CA-1/PA-1.
Contains a decoder for DTS and Dolby Digital / Dolby Pro Logic.
The device uses a DSP for 24-bit signal processing to provide a wide dynamic range and natural sound quality.
The D/A converter uses a 20-bit DAC for all 6 channels (5.1 channels).
The power amplifier uses Nakamichi's unique HTA (Harmonic Time Alignment) technology.
This technology focuses on the time lag between the music signal and the distortion component, and realizes excellent characteristics by minimizing NFB, which is the largest cause of the time lag, and by designing a circuit that keeps the amount of NFB within the audible band constant.
The power stage is a fully discrete 5-channel configuration.
The power supply section uses separate power transformers for the front & rear 4 ch and center ch, and a multi-regulated power supply to prevent mutual interference between the power supply sections.
Two digital inputs, coaxial and optical, are installed.
In addition, it is equipped with input jacks for 7 audio input channels and 4 video input channels, and S-Video jacks for monitor output and all video input channels.
It has a built-in synthesizer tuner capable of presetting 30 FM/AM stations.
Equipped with 2-position surround playback mode of Natural and Hall.
Equipped with a level-adjustable subwoofer output.
Equipped with tone control with bypass function.
Equipped with a loudness switch that can compensate for sound quality at low volume.
Equipped with a system remote function, you can control the connected Nakamichi CD player and cassette deck.
Uses a 2-way binding post speaker terminal.
Wireless remote control with learning function is included.
