Commentary
FM/AM tuner manufactured by SANSUI.
Quartz PLL digital synthesizer system is used. In this system, the frequency from the local oscillator circuit and the accurate reference oscillation frequency of the synthesizer section are compared in phase, and the accurate center frequency of the IF filter is set electronically to improve the tuning accuracy.
The S/N ratio has been improved by adopting a newly developed circuit in the front end part.
A back-to-back type varicap is used to improve the ability to eliminate image interference of adjacent stations. In addition, a DC amplifier is used to improve the response of the loop and the ability to correct errors.
The IF stage is equipped with a ceramic filter with excellent group delay characteristics, which improves the contradictory characteristics of high selectivity and low distortion.
The signal to noise ratio (S/N) has been improved by adopting a double-tuned Quadrature detection system for the detection stage.
Equipped with a direct set function to input the frequency by a number.
FM/AM10 station random preset tuning is possible.
2-mode tuning system of auto and manual is adopted.
