DIATONE DP-88B

Commentary
A record player with belt drive system.
A 4-pole hysteresis synchronous motor is used for the drive part.
In addition, a large bearing with high machining accuracy is used for the turntable bearing to realize quiet and smooth rotation.
Newly developed universal tone arm is used for the tone arm part.
In this arm, the S-shaped pipes are joined by a brass material with high rigidity, and the counterweights are supported by rubber vibration isolators to suppress partial resonance.
The cabinet has a layered structure with layers of lauan plywood and particle board, which are hollowed out for balance to shut out external vibrations and prevent howling.
There is also a Shiraki type DP-88B-W.
