Commentary
2-channel / 4-channel tape deck using 3-head system.
TEAC A-1340 seems to be the original model.
The head part uses a 3-head system and can be monitored while recording.
A 4-channel head is used for recording, playback, and erase heads, enabling 4-channel or 2-channel recording.
Equipped with a bias switching mechanism to bring out the performance of a low-noise tape by giving the optimum bias.
Four independent output adjustment volumes are used for each channel.
The volume can be finely adjusted during playback in conjunction with the VU meter.
Designed to adjust the height of reel stand to 3 levels to protect the tape.
Uses a reel clamp that allows one touch tape attachment.
Equipped with electronic shut-off function to protect pinch roller.
Each channel is equipped with an independent level meter.
