Commentary
This speaker system is compatible with high-sampling and high-bit digital audio.
A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A lightweight aramid cross cone is used for the diaphragm. In order to demonstrate the characteristics of aramid, an aromatic polyamide organic fiber with moderate internal loss in addition to high strength, we have succeeded in reducing the weight by eliminating the resin used for molding. By reducing the weight, we have achieved regeneration with high response and excellent S/N ratio. In addition, by eliminating the resin, we have contributed to reducing the natural sound by taking advantage of the large internal loss of aramid.
In addition, HD suspension is used on the edge. DS 800 ZX also improves the damping material applied for higher damping characteristics and reduced aging.
The mid-range is equipped with 10 cm cone type mid-range.
As with the woofer, a lightweight aramid cross cone is used for the diaphragm. In order to strengthen vibration control measures, a down roll cloth edge with added damping material is used for the edge to reduce natural sound.
In addition, HRC (High Rigid Construction) frame is used for the frame part, and the strength is improved by the thickness and shape of the frame.
A 5-cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of boronized titanium. Boronized titanium is a material in which boron is evaporated and diffused on the titanium surface in a vacuum furnace. As a result, an extremely high specific elastic modulus has been obtained. In order to demonstrate the excellent characteristics of this material, a DUD structure in which a voice coil bobbin and a diaphragm are integrated realizes low distortion and high speed.
The frame structure uses the DM method, which takes advantage of the dome structure itself. The monocoque structure, which is a frame with a magnetic circuit, realizes high rigidity. In addition, unique vibration control technology such as a special specification silk tangential edge with high low distortion and HRC frame is introduced everywhere to enable high-frequency reproduction with excellent resolution.
The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
In addition, a 2-side round baffle is used to prevent degradation of sound quality due to diffraction phenomenon of sound.
Uses a large, gold-plated speaker terminal that is compatible with banana plugs.
As an option sold separately, there was a speaker stand specifically designed in terms of design and sound quality.
