Commentary

A double magnet configuration with an AV equalizer that can be newly set to three positions for AV and a magnet for anti-magnetism.
The woofer is equipped with carbon, graphite, honeycomb, and cone. The squaker uses carbon cloth and S. R. titanium for the diaphragm. The tweeter uses an S. R. titanium diaphragm with a D. U. D structure. The specific elastic modulus is improved by 40% compared to the titanium diaphragm.

A speaker system based on the DS-66EX with an additional magnetic shielding design.

The magnetic circuit of each unit has a double magnet structure equipped with anti-magnetic magnets.
This not only prevents magnetic flux leakage, which adversely affects cathode ray tubes, but also increases the energy of the magnetic circuit by increasing the magnetic flux density.

The DS-66EXV has a new AV equalizer.
With the AV selector, you can switch between three positions and select the sound quality that matches the source, such as high-quality playback or movie playback.

A 27 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
C. G. (carbon graphite) honeycomb cone is mounted on the diaphragm, and C. G. composite is used for the skin material of the honeycomb construction cone to realize clearer low-range reproduction.

The mid-range is equipped with a 10 cm cone type squaker.
The diaphragm is made of carbon cloth with high rigidity and specific elastic modulus, and the center diaphragm is made of S. R. titanium to realize a wide band.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of S. R. titanium, which has a 40% higher specific elastic modulus than the titanium diaphragm. The diaphragm and voice coil bobbin are integrated into a D. U. D structure, which realizes high-speed reproduction, wide bandwidth and power linearity.
In addition, a D. M. structure has been adopted for the mounting structure of the unit, and the plate part of the magnetic circuit is made into a mount plate and the magnetic circuit is directly attached to the enclosure to increase the rigidity.

The diffraction phenomenon of sound waves is suppressed by the 4-side round baffle in which the top, bottom, left and right sides of the front baffle are rounded.
