Commentary
A bookshelf type speaker system incorporating real-dynamism design philosophy.
The real-dynamism design concept realizes excellent response by reducing the weight of the vibration plate, suppresses vibration and unwanted resonance by adopting HD suspension, and improves response and enables efficient low-frequency playback by adopting a front bass reflex port that simulates the optimum design.
A 27 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
New Aramid Hybrid Cone is used for the diaphragm of this unit. It is an aramid hybrid FRP diaphragm with an intra-ply structure of organic aramid fiber and inorganic amorphous silica fiber, which combine light weight, high rigidity and moderate internal loss.
In addition, an HD suspension that suppresses the inherent high-order resonance is adopted in the edge section, enabling action-quality low-frequency playback.
The mid-range is equipped with a 10 cm cone type mid-range that uses New Aramid Hybrid Cone as well as Woofer.
A 2.5 cm dome-shaped tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is an HD (High Damping Alloy) DUD diaphragm. The DUD structure, which integrates the voice coil bobbin and diaphragm, enables high-speed playback. The diaphragm is made of a new material that has vibration damping characteristics that are orders of magnitude higher than conventional aluminum and titanium, has a high specific elastic modulus due to the metal, and is 60% lighter than titanium.
In addition, the DM system is adopted, and a highly rigid frame structure is adopted in which the magnetic circuit is mounted directly in the enclosure.
Anti-magnetic design is applied.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
