Commentary

A bookshelf-type speaker system incorporating a number of digital technologies.

A 20 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A cone-type diaphragm made of paper pulp impregnated with a special resin is used for the diaphragm, which realizes high rigidity while taking advantage of the large internal loss of paper.
In addition, die-cast frames are used for the frame to reduce natural vibration and improve sound resolution.

A 3-cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of DUD ω - titanium. The DIATONE Unified Diaphragm (DUD) system, which integrates the diaphragm and voice coil bobbin, provides a wider bandwidth and reduced transmission loss, as well as superior characteristics such as improved high-frequency attenuation characteristics, good linearity, and high peak input resistance.
Ω - Titanium is used as the diaphragm material. This material is titanium diaphragm surface hardened in a special atmosphere to ensure high specific elastic modulus and moderate internal loss.

It is equipped with a 1.6 cm dome type super tweeter for the super high band.
Ω - titanium diaphragm is used for the diaphragm.

In the network section, the characteristics of each element and overall structure are carefully examined to reduce distortion.
Especially, OFC with low DC resistance is used for the coil and wiring material, and the crimping wiring method with OFC is adopted for the connection part to eliminate the sense of distortion and coloring.

The enclosure uses Diatone's unique distributed resonance type.
The baffle plates are joined together by means of an enveloping handle. In addition, by placing reinforcing members in appropriate positions, resonance modes are dispersed to prevent box ringing.
