Commentary

A small bookshelf speaker system that employs an acoustic air suspension system.

A 20 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
In addition to the strong magnet used in the magnetic circuit, the FN ring with excellent linearity in magnetization characteristics is used to reduce distortion. In addition, the sound quality near the crossover frequency is improved by attaching a damping ring to the voice coil.

A 5 cm cone type tweeter is installed in the high range.
This unit uses a back chamber with an orifice structure to improve the transient.

A 1.6 cm dome type super tweeter is installed in the super high band.

A switch on the front baffle switches the Super Tweeter ON / OFF.
You can enjoy 2 kinds of sound quality by switching according to the program source, listening room condition and preference.

The unit layout of the front baffle adopts a symmetrical design to improve sound image localization.
In addition, the enclosure uses a distributed resonance type, and the strong joint structure and special reinforcing materials disperse the resonance mode to prevent the box ringing phenomenon.

DS 201 has a wood-grain finish and DS 201 DB has a dark brown finish.
