Commentary
A wall-mounted speaker system for the first Diatone lineup released in 1968.
PW 1607, a 16 cm cone type woofer, is installed in the low range.
This unit has a high-compliance roll edge and uses a barium ferrite magnet for the magnetic circuit.
The TW-23B, a 5 cm cone type tweeter, is mounted in the high range.
The enclosure is a sealed structure using Dap plywood.
In addition, by limiting the depth to 80 mm, it can be mounted on the wall or embedded in the ceiling.
Glass wool sound absorbing material of 25 mm thickness using fine glass fiber of 1 ~ 5 micron is adopted inside.
