Commentary

A compact speaker system that uses the Double Drive Speaker System (DDSS).

The DDSS has a structure in which two units are mounted on the front and rear, and the two units are driven in phase.
As a result, the rear unit supports the drive of the front unit which is sealed. By driving without resistance, the regeneration capacity of the unit is maximized, and quick response is possible even in the case of Dainyu force or sudden changes in sound pressure. Also, by radiating back pressure of the rear drive unit from the bass reflex port, dynamic low-range playback is possible.
The DS-100Z drives the diaphragm more smoothly by optimizing the acoustic characteristics and volume ratio through computer simulation.

A newly developed 13 cm cone type full-range unit is mounted for all band, and a 10 cm cone type unit is mounted for rear drive.
The magnetic circuit of each speaker unit uses a strontium magnet to increase the magnetic flux density, and is designed with a cancel magnet and a magnetic shielding cover to prevent magnetic field.

There were two variations of the enclosure finish : wood and black wood.

There were a stand for hanging from the sky with adjustable angle and a holder for hanging on the wall which were sold separately.
