Commentary

A speaker system that supports next-generation Super Digital (high-sampling digital audio).

A 27 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A newly developed 270 mm aramid honeycomb cone is used for the diaphragm to achieve weight reduction equivalent to pulp cone while maintaining high rigidity. Aramid, an aromatic polyamide long fiber with high strength, high specific elastic modulus and moderate internal loss, is used as a skin material for the aramid honeycomb structure sandwiched between the honeycomb core and the honeycomb.
H. D. (High Damping) suspension is used for the edge, and 6N copper wire is used for the voice coil which is the driving source.

The mid-range features a 6 cm dome mid-range.
B for the diaphragm4Uses C (pure boron). B4C has a high specific elastic modulus second only to crystalline diamond, a moderate internal loss, and no natural sound. In the middle range, it is designed with a large diameter of 60 mm in order to reproduce a wide band at a higher density, and natural sound is suppressed by H. D. suspension.
In addition, the volume of the back chamber is larger than that of the conventional one, so that the crossover with the woofer is set thicker, and 6N copper wire is used for the network lead wire to further improve sound quality.

B for the high range as well as the mid-range4It is equipped with a 2.3 cm dome type tweeter using C.
The Tweeter uses a strong magnetic circuit of 20,000 Gauss for the drive system to realize more musical sound.

The network section uses crimping wiring, a two part configuration, and an independent power supply system.
In addition, the rear terminal uses the same large gold plated banana plug terminal as the DS 2000 z.

The enclosure is handcrafted by Diatone Kobo and the internal structure is hermetically sealed.
The DS-1000ZA uses the Diatone traditional two sided round baffle to suppress the diffraction of sound waves, and the top of the baffle has a rounded top round process to reduce unwanted radiation and further improve the turbulence of sound waves caused by diffraction.

There was a special speaker stand as an option sold separately.
This stand is a wood block type with high rigidity and high sound quality design, and uses Canadian Maple for the rear reinforcement crosspiece to pursue the beauty of the sound.
