Commentary

Feature series power amplifier.

Uses 2-monaural construction in which power supplies for left and right channels and 2 monaural amplifiers are configured on the same chassis.
As a result, the channel separation has been greatly improved by suppressing the mutual interference from the power supply.

Uses a symmetrical complimentary service 3-stage Darlington OCL circuit and a differential-amplified 2-stage current mirror drive system.
A 3-stage Darlington circuit with a large DC current amplification factor and a current mirror circuit with a high gain, a target drive and a low distortion are used to enable a low distortion factor.

By combining a current mirror drive and a transistor with excellent high-frequency characteristics, pulse rise characteristics and high-frequency distortion characteristics are improved.

The power supply circuit uses two 200 VA power transformers and two 63 V, 10000 μ Fx2 power supply capacitors.

A huge heat sink of 0.35 ° C / W per channel is installed externally.
As a result, the cooling effect is very high and the junction temperature of the power transistor can be kept sufficiently low for use.
High reliability is ensured by parallel push-pull of power transistor of Pc = 100W.

The protective relay is used as it is to switch the speakers.
Since there is no conventional speaker changeover switch, there is no decrease in the damping factor due to contact resistance of the speaker changeover switch.

It can be docked with the Feature series preamp and can be remotely controlled by the preamp.
