¥ 1,260,000 (tax included, sold in November 2003)
Commentary
A D/A converter developed for use with the CD Transport MCD1000.
Sampling frequencies of 96 kHz, 48 kHz, 44.1 kHz and 32 kHz are supported.
A 24 bit type multi-bit D/A converter has two circuits per channel and eight circuits for both channels.
All digital signals input to the MDA1000 are upsampled to 768kHz/24bit and sent to the D/A converter for higher resolution, higher S/N and smoother analog signals.
The digital outputs are equipped with a coaxial Route 3, an optical Route 3 and a balanced one system.
One unbalanced / balanced analog output can be switched between fixed and variable.
Uses a top cover and side panel made of machined aluminum material.
