Commentary
This tube type preamplifier incorporates the latest digital technology, such as the use of digital control volume, in addition to the tradition of making Macintosh amplifiers.
The signal is amplified by the vacuum tube 12AX7A, and the output is muted by the automatic turn-on delay until the vacuum tube is warm and ready for output, reducing the influence of noise from external devices.
VRV (Variable Rate Volume) digital electronic volume of 214 steps in 0.5 dB unit is adopted.
This makes it possible to adjust the volume as if it were an analog volume. It also provides stable operation that is resistant to changes in contact points over time.
It has a programmable input selector.
The fluorescent display uses a light diffusion fiber illumination structure that improves visibility without compromising the external design.
Wireless remote control included.
