Commentary
This digital synthesizer tuner is designed with an emphasis on sound quality, inheriting the technology of the famous analog tuner SH-T10.
It is equipped with a quartz PLL synthesizer that enables accurate reception and a FINE tuning function that enables fine tuning according to radio wave conditions. It is equipped with a pure electronic 4-stage front-end that employs a high-sensitivity MOS FET.
The interference rejection capability is field-tested under general conditions of use, equipped with anti-birdie filters, and thorough measures such as eliminating beat interference are taken.
In addition, the IF stage can be switched between WIDE for strong electric fields and NARROW for weak electric fields. The FINE tuning function allows fine adjustment in 10 kHz steps depending on the radio wave condition.
The detector section that converts RF signals into audio signals uses ultra-wide-band ratio detection with superior differential gain characteristics.
Oxygen-free copper wires are used from the power transformer to each stage to improve sound quality.
Equipped with a preset & memory function, it can store 8 FM and 8 AM stations for one touch channel selection. In addition, it can also store FINE tuning and IF stage switching.
It also has a last station memory that stores the last receiving station.
It is equipped with the program Rec which is convenient for the absence recording, and the program recording of up to 6 stations is possible.
