Commentary
The model 900 is the most compact 3-way bookshelf speaker system in the Model 9 xx series.
It is the same system unit common to the series, and has both brightness and power feeling of Marantz.
Model 900 has mounted a 10-inch unit of Horley on a woofer, and the combination of 5 inch squawker and 1.5 inch LPF Japanese Bluefish eta of the same series is common to the series.
The front baffle of the system has ports cut and sealed, usually with urethane foam filler. This allows you to fine-tune the low-frequency playback depending on the state of the listening room.
