The double reverse deck was developed to deal with the clear sound unique to CD.
It is designed with an emphasis on operability so that the concept of "simple and easy operation with a variety of functions" can live.

Both Decks A and B use quick reverse recording and playback.
The infrared photo-sensor system enables speedy Oatley verse with almost no sound interruption. It also senses both transmitted and reflected light, making it compatible with any leader tape.

You can enjoy the parallel recording function that allows simultaneous recording of two tapes and the Contini Ance function that allows continuous recording and playback for up to three hours. You can also enjoy random program dubbing that allows editing of original tapes and dubbing by programming up to 16 songs in any order you like.
Dubbing is possible at either constant speed or double speed.
Since the playback start of A deck and the recording start of B deck can be started simultaneously with one touch operation, recording from tape to tape can be done in the best condition without loss.

It is equipped with the Dolby HX PRO that enables recording in the best condition at all times with proper bias adjustment and improves the frequency characteristics in the high sound range.
In addition, it is equipped with Dolby B and C, which can be used together to enable recording and playback with higher sound quality.

Equipped with a digital peak level indicator, it digitally displays peak levels from 0 dB to + 12 dB for 5 seconds in 1 dB steps during recording, making it possible to set recording levels with high precision to maximize tape characteristics.

If you press the Play button twice during repeat playback of one song, the song will be played again. Other functions include a quick music sensor (QMS) function that quickly starts a specific song and allows you to select up to 15 songs, an auto music scan (AMS) function that plays the intro of each song in 10-second order, and a blank skip function that automatically searches for an unrecorded portion (more than 10 seconds) on an already recorded tape, fast-forwards to the next song, and plays it.

It comes with a 10-key remote control that allows you to operate functions such as 10-key operation and QMS/AMS at hand.

There was also a black model.
