In order to realize an
ideal tapes run, the run system mechanism is pursued thoroughly. The newly
developed precision die-casting solid construction head base is adopted, and
parts which influence a run performance, such as a capstan & pinch-roller
head block and a cassette guide pin, are unified. By the synergistic effect with
a precision large-sized fly wheel with a large inertial mass, the run
performance is raised by leaps and bounds. Moreover, with the closed-loop
dual capstan scheme which consisted of two capstans and pinch rollers, the head
touch of the stable tapes is realized and a modulation noise and level
fluctuation are improved sharply.
The load variation of the motor was
reduced and the tape tension and head touch which were stabilized with the twin
belt drive scheme which loses rotation unevenness are gained. Furthermore,
the original cassette half stabilizer which presses down a cassette half's
oscillation in respect of a point was adopted, and a cassette half's fine
oscillation and modulation distortion are reduced.
In order to achieve
thorough low-noise-ization and to reproduce purer high-quality sound, the
exclusive device developed for sound-recording amplifier is adopted. The
constant current drive scheme which can supply the sound-recording electric
current to need was realized without being influenced by the inductive impedance
of the recording head, the recording head and tape characteristics were
rectified, and the flat frequency characteristic is acquired. Moreover, the
differential part constituted by low-noise FET is carried in the play equalizer
amplifier based on the know-how of the phone amplifier circuitry cultivated with
the high-class amplifier of the Marantz, and the S/N ratio is improved.
The high hardness permalloy excellent in magnetic property is adopted as
the core material of a Recording-play combination head. PC OCC
(single-crystal-like high purity oxygen free high conductivity copper) which
suppressed the signal loss sharply is used for the coil winding of a head, and
the respectively optimal gap setups for a Recording play is performed to it.
Dolbey HX PRO who controls bias level according to the quantity of a
high region signal is carried. In order to enable the sound recording in the
status best thereby always, the frequency characteristic of upper register is
improved sharply.
