Commentary

This is a Century Series CD recorder which pursues not only recording function but also sound quality.

It is compatible with both CD-R and CD-RW formats.

For the mechanism part, a vibration control structure mechanism using a die-cast is adopted as a countermeasure against vibration that affects recording and reproduction.

Equipped with digital level and balance control, the level can be adjusted within a range of -63dB to + 6 dB during digital recording, and the balance can be adjusted in 100 steps each for left and right.

Equipped with a sampling rate converter, digital signals from devices with different sampling frequencies, such as CS/BS and DAT, can be automatically converted to 44.1 kHz, the same frequency as CD, enabling recording from various devices.

With the digital direct recording function, digital sources with a sampling frequency of 44.1 khz, such as CDs, can be recorded without a sampling rate converter, and HDCD and DTS CD can also be recorded.

With built-in CD text input, erasure and editing functions, you can record album titles and artist names together with music. It can store approximately 50 pages of data on 20 songs (60 artist names / 60 titles per song).

Built-in recording functions include a MAKE CD function that automatically copies a whole CD from the start of dubbing to the end of dubbing and finalization, and an auto track increment function that automatically assigns song numbers in the recording order.

Each of the L and R audio output amplifiers is equipped with a high-speed voltage amplification module (HDAM) that boasts low noise and high slew rate. HDAM's shielding structure eliminates the influence of heat, vibration, and electromagnetic waves, and effectively increases the density and speed of playback sound.

The D/A converter uses TDA1305, a Philips DAC that uses a bit stream method. The differential operation of the DAC circuits independent of L/R realizes high channel separation and reduction of harmonic distortion.

An EI-type power transformer using an OFC (oxygen-free copper wire) is used for the power transformer, and a highly selected high-quality electrolytic capacitor is used.

Uses gold-plated input / output terminals.

SCMS is supported.

Wireless remote control is included.
