Marantz DR-17
¥ 138,000 (released in May 1999)
Commentary
A reference CD-R/CD-RW recorder that uses high-quality parts such as DAC7 and HDAM.
The D/A converter uses the bit stream DA converter DAC7 (SAA7350 + TDA1547) mounted on CD-17D and CD-16.
Equipped with a digital direct recording function, sources with a sampling frequency of 44.1 kHz, such as CDs, do not pass through the SRC (Sampling Rate Converter), making it possible to record high quality sound.
Featuring an 8 x oversampling digital filter with a CD-compatible High Definition Compatible Digital (HDCD) decoder, you can enjoy the wide dynamic range and high resolution of HDCD.
In addition, digital copying of HDCD is possible, so the sound specifications of HDCD can be recorded as they are with the high-quality digital direct recording function.
Equipped with Marantz's unique Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module (HDAM), a low-noise / high-through-rate high-speed voltage amplification module that is shielded from heat, vibration and electromagnetic waves.
The mechanism section employs the die-cast mechanism used in commercial CD recorders. The excellent vibration control structure reduces external interference.
Equipped with double speed finalizing function, you can process time-consuming finalization at double speed.
Equipped with a sampling rate converter (SRC) that can convert different sampling frequencies (32 kHz to 48 kHz) to 44.1 kHz for recording from digital sources such as BS and DAT.
Equipped with a CD-synchronized recording function, it enables digital recording with synchronized recording between CD players and MD decks (regardless of manufacturer), and more reliable synchronized recording between CD players equipped with D-BUS systems such as the Marantz CD-17Da.
Equipped with auto / manual track increment function.
Equipped with automatic track ID recognition function.
Serial Copy Management System (SCMS) is supported.
Wireless remote control is included.
