A CD player developed under the theme of playing music more faithfully.

16-bit 4 x oversampling digital filter and 2 dac method are adopted.
In addition, focusing on improving the basic performance of the LSI itself, the TDA1541A and SAA7220P/B are named "A version" and installed.

The mechanism uses CDM-1MK2, which was developed based on CDM-1, a CD drive mechanism installed in LHH1000 and realizing high weight and high rigidity by die-cast frame, and utilizing the know-how of ultra-lightweight pickup and silent drive that has been accumulated through mechanical development up to now.
The pickup uses a single-beam swing arm system to reduce as much as possible the weight of the entire mechanism consolidated by die casting, and improves playability by combining it with a precision servo system.

It adopts a unique ARC (AlmInum Raft Ceiling) structure.
The 2-piece aluminum top cover with a raft-shaped cut increases the strength and diffuses vibration modes to prevent resonance.
Aluminum die-cast is used for the chassis, and large insulators and side wood panels are combined to reduce resonance and vibration.

In order to prevent interference between digital and analog circuits, the digital circuit, audio circuit, servo circuit, display circuit, etc. are independent from each other, and the circuit layout is designed to eliminate noise.

The power supply section is equipped with a large power transformer with excellent regulations made in Europe and a 6,800 μ Fx2 high-capacity electrolytic capacitor for audio.
In addition, the digital circuit and analog circuit are completely independent and separately wound to prevent noise generated from the digital circuit from entering.

It is equipped with coaxial (75 Ω coaxial) and two optical digital outputs.
In addition to the fixed output, the analog output is equipped with a variable output linked to the master volume.
