Commentary
The D/A converter was developed by combining technologies such as a 16-bit 4 x oversampling digital filter in order to respond to the full-scale development of digital audio.
The D/A converter uses TDA1541, a 16-bit 4-times oversampling L/R-independent 2 dac with sampling rates of 44.1 khz, 48 khz and 32 khz.
The circuit consists of a digital interface, D/A converter, and analog audio. The power supply is completely separated to eliminate interference and noise from each circuit. The digital and D/A circuits are equipped with an EI-type transformer, and the audio section is equipped with a toroidal-type transformer. A custom high-capacity electrolytic capacitor for audio is also installed.
The chassis uses an aluminum pull-out top cover that is integrally molded with the die-cast chassis and ribs to reduce external vibration.
Equipped with a PLL lock circuit that locks automatically according to input sampling frequencies of 32 khz, 44.1 khz and 48 khz.
Both optical and coaxial digital input jacks are available, and a digital monitor jack is also provided.
In addition to fixed and variable analog outputs, a balanced output is also provided.
Equipped with an absolute phase control, the phase of the analog output can be controlled by an inverting circuit.
Equipped with a headphone port with independent volume.
