BTL-1
Commentary

Dedicated BTL adapter for Marantz amplifier for BTL (Balanced Transformer Less) connection.

BTL connection is a circuit technology developed to achieve both low distortion and high power, and is also called bridge connection.
Basically, two amplifiers (Lch and Rch for stereo amplifiers) are driven in opposite phase to each other, and a speaker is connected between each output.
The two amplifiers driven in opposite phases are powered up by push-pull operation (theoretically four times as high as single output). On the other hand, distortion components are cancelled out. Moreover, no current flowing in the output stage flows into the ground line, thus realizing clean ground.
The BTL-1 drives the Marantz power amplifier using the BTL method.

In terms of circuitry, we have adopted a complete DC configuration that eliminates capacitors from input to output.

The output impedance is set to a low impedance of 50 Ω so that sound quality is not easily lost even if the output cord is extended.
You can use the output of the BTL-1 by placing the power amplifier near the speaker and the preamplifier at hand.
