Commentary

An audio computer capable of measuring and correcting the acoustic characteristics of a listening room with high digital accuracy without using any external equipment such as an equalizer.

All of the audio signal processing is processed digitally, and the D/A converter is equipped with bit storage type SAA7350 in order to minimize degradation of sound quality caused by conversion error between digital and analog.
It is also equipped with a 1-bit A/D converter to support analog sources.

Uses a simple operation that does not require any specialized procedures required for correction.
It is a remote control interactive system, and all operations can be performed simply by selecting the menu displayed on the LCD.

It is equipped with 4 functions that add various signal processing after correcting the sound characteristics in the room.
A total of 13 types of features can be selected with 4 functions.

Two types of frequency response control are provided : a parametric equalizer and room acoustic compensation.
The 3-band parametric equalizer allows you to adjust the gain (magnitude of correction) and Q factor (sharpness of correction) at the selected center frequency.
In addition, room acoustic compensation is used to compensate for the transmission frequency characteristics of the room. First, the acoustic characteristics of the room are measured and calculated according to the target frequency characteristic curve, so that only the frequency range of the characteristic can be corrected, or an arbitrary characteristic curve can be set.

Five types of reverberation control are installed : reverb, concert hall, digital movie surround, stereo control, and headphone sound localization correction.
The reverb allows you to control the reverberation characteristics and the concert hall allows you to simulate the reverberation characteristics of eight world-famous concert halls.
In digital movie surround, you can improve the surround effect by adding rear and center to the front 2 ch. In stereo control, you can adjust the left and right spread in 11 levels from mono to spatial stereo.
The headphone sound image localization correction is a function to correct the localization in the head when using headphones, and releases the localization which comes to the center of the head to the outside of the head.

It is equipped with two types of signal characteristic control : dynamic range compression / expansion and scratch noise elimination.
Dynamic Range Compression / Expansion controls the dynamic range, and Scratch Noise Elimination eliminates noise caused by scratches on analog disks.

Four types of measuring functions are installed : a sinusoidal gray fabric, a white noise gray fabric, a pink noise gray fabric and a real time analyzer.
The sine wave generator outputs sine waves with frequencies set in 1 Hz steps within 20 Hz to 20 kHz in the range of -80dB to 0 dB.
The White Noise and pink noise generators output their respective noise levels in the range of -80dB to 0 dB.
The real-time analyzer operates as a 27-band, 40-Hz-16-kHz real-time analyzer.
