PM8100SA ver.2
Commentary

Based on the PM8100SA, Marantz's original Absolute SA Technology circuit speedup technology has been introduced to improve the completion of this pre-main amplifier.

It has multi-channel input / output terminals, and can be developed to multi-channel playback by adding a power amplifier such as SM6100SA ver. 2.

Audio only capacitors are used in 17 decoupling capacitors in the pre and power sections, and newly developed high-quality film capacitors are used everywhere. In addition, a low-noise Schottky barrier diode, which is used in a separate amplifier, is used in the power block to achieve high efficiency and low noise.

The ground potential has been thoroughly reviewed while repeatedly examining the sound quality to prevent potential fluctuations.

Equipped with a 6-channel preamplifier.
Low noise and high slew rate have been achieved by adopting a current feedback type for all six channel circuits and by using high-precision low-noise metal-coated resistors and film capacitors.

For the volume, it uses a motor-driven 6-chain volume of die-cast frame.
This volume provides better sound quality performance than electronic volumes, with less channel to channel variation than conventional volumes.

The stereo power amplifier block uses a current feedback circuit that reduces the feedback impedance to reduce the phase compensation and realize a high-speed amplifier.
In addition, the PM8100SA ver. 2 uses film capacitors, resistors, and other parts that are similar to those of a separate amplifier. In addition, power devices use LAPT, an audio transistor with superior high-frequency characteristics.

By separating the left and right heat sinks, vibration and thermal crosstalk are reduced.

The power supply uses a super-ring-core toroidal transformer with less magnetic flux leakage, and the rectifier uses a Schottky barrier diode.

CD and DVD inputs are designed to be directly connected to the preamp section from the input terminal by a dedicated relay.

Speaker terminal made by WBT of Germany is used for speaker terminal.

Equipped with a full Rec selector with Rec buffer.

Uses a double layered chassis.

It is equipped with a phono equalizer amplifier that supports MM cartridges.

An inlet type AC cable is used.

Wireless remote control is included.
