Commentary
AV surround amplifier equipped with Dolby Pro Logic.
It is equipped with a Dolby Pro-Logic circuit. The power amplifier section consists of four amplifiers including two front channels, one rear channel and one center channel.
The rear speaker output terminal is equipped with two systems for five speakers. It is compatible with the Dolby Pro Logic System without adding an amplifier for the center.
For the center channel, you can choose normal for small speakers, wide for medium-sized or larger speakers, or phantom for non-center speakers.
In addition to Dolby Pro Logic, it is equipped with 2 types of surround mode, matrix and hole.
It is equipped with a hall mode that adds the reverberation of a concert hall to a normal 2 ch source such as a CD, and a matrix that can be used for LD live sources and sports.
The Superbus circuit, a graphic equalizer type bass enhancement circuit, is installed to improve bass reproduction.
Audio Route 3 and AV4 connection terminals are mounted.
The LD, VTR1, and TV also have an S terminal.
Uses side panels with vibration-proof structure that is used in PM-80 etc.
Also, there are 2 color variations of black and gold.
It comes with a pre-coded, pre-trained remote control for basic operation of the ST 700 and other Marantz products, and contains remote control codes for basic operation of TVs and VCRs from other manufacturers.
