Commentary
Based on the PM6100SA, this pre-main amplifier has been improved by introducing Absolute SA Technology which reviews parts, power supply and wiring.
A current feedback type preamplifier is used in the preamplifier section to achieve low noise and high slew rate.
We are also working to improve sound quality by using high-quality electrolytic capacitors.
A current feedback type power amplifier is used for the power amplifier section, and an audio transistor LAPT is used for the power device.
In Ver. 2, a Schottky barrier diode is installed in each rectifying circuit of the power supply.
Each circuit uses high-quality polypropylene capacitors and low-noise metal-coated resistors.
In addition, the fluctuation of potential is eliminated by reviewing the ground potential while repeatedly examining the sound quality.
A speaker terminal made by WBT of Germany is used for the speaker terminal.
Equipped with a full Rec selector with Rec buffer.
Equipped with a phono equalizer amplifier compatible with MM cartridges.
An inlet type AC jack is adopted.
Bi-amp drive is also possible in combination with SM6100SA ver. 2.
It comes with a wireless remote controller that can control Marantz products such as CD7300.
