Commentary

Based on PM-94, this is a limited model focusing on the sound quality with construction and materials.

Power element MOS FET is mounted on the output stage.
The combination of the output stage of the MOS FET triple push-pull configuration and the unique circuit technology "Quarter A" auto-shifts the pure A and AB class by electronic control, and drives the speaker powerfully from low level to high level.

Equipped with CD/Phono Direct Position for pure and high-quality music playback, and equipped with MC Transformer to guarantee the sound quality of advanced MC cartridge.
In addition, a dedicated position for HiFi VCR is available for AV sources.

We have reviewed the PM-94 from the material side and are pursuing higher sound quality.
We continue to use a new material called "Coppertight" for copper-plated copper plates, and attach a non-magnetic material to the resonance part to improve resonance dispersion and strength by joining dissimilar metals.
In addition, the conventional steel plate top plate has been replaced with non-magnetic aluminum drawing material to eliminate mutual interference caused by eddy current.

In order to reduce vibration and resonance from the outside, the space inside the large insulator is filled with Portland cement, and other thorough anti-vibration measures are implemented.

The power supply unit is based on Marantz's traditional power-oriented concept, and consists mainly of a large toroidal transformer and a specially designed large electrolytic capacitor for HiFi audio.

It is finished with the highest priority on sound quality even in details such as parts selection by hearing and repeated tuning.
