Commentary
A4-size FM/AM tuner with improved operability as well as improved basic performance.
The FM front-end section uses a low-noise FET (field-effect transistor) with excellent cross-modulation characteristics, the FM multi-circuit uses a PLL IC, and the FM IF section uses three 2-element ceramic filters with good phase characteristics and a dedicated クオードラチュア detection IC.
Equipped with a tri-state tuning indicator with 3 LEDs, the just-tuning point can be easily confirmed.
A loop antenna is mounted for AM only.
Equipped with a mode / muting switch that integrates the mode switching and muting functions.
It is equipped with a 9 kHz trap coil that eliminates beat interference caused by adjacent stations during AM reception.
